Library activity

The main activity of the Republican agricultural scientific library:
– Collection of publications on all subjects of the agricultural field;
– Creation of necessary conditions for storage and use of the library fund;
– Keeping literature in national and foreign languages;
– Improvement of work based on the introduction of modern information technology and computer information technologies;
– Providing scientific and methodological assistance to agricultural libraries of the Republic;
– Creation and maintenance of data search apparatus, databases, catalogs and files.
– Organize services for students in reading rooms, readers’ tickets, individual and group service.
The Scientific Library Fund currently has 550072 copies of publications.
To Library Fund:
– During 2018, 6502 copies of the book were used, of which 2439 copies of the book, 2382 copies of the journals, 1681 copies of newspapers;
– Subscription to 9 types of local journals and 6 types of agricultural scientific journals of Russia and 10 newspapers for 2018.
In the scientific library, based on the program “ARMAT”, 5100 copies of electronic literature have been included. There are 8 librarian stuffs by thus program.
